Speco Technologies Makes a extensive line of 70v Commercial Audio Products, which are indispensable for creating a 70 volt music and voice audio distribution system.

Speco Technologies 70v Audio Systems are comprised of power amplifiers mixers, 70 volt ceiling, indoor outdoor, rock horn loudspeakers (with in line transformers), volume controls, and a telephone system interface, depending on your phone company set up. Speco Technologies 70v Equipment is mostly used in commercial audio applications. The Systems begins with a Power Amplifier/Mixer, which gives power and distributes the audio signal. GIN Carries a full line of strait Speco power amplifier / mixers with features such as volume controls, bass and treble controls, etc., that are built into the amplifier to make it a one stop solution. Most commercial amplifiers have speaker outputs for 4/8/16 ohms, 25 & 70 volts.

With 70v Systems, one does not have to worry about keeping the impedance matched throughout their audio system as they would on an 8 ohm based system. Impedance is a measure of resistance and in a 8 ohm system if you hook up too many speakers to one amp the impedance will change to dangerous levels and potentially destroy the amplifier. However, with 70 volt Systems, you wire the speakers in parallel with in line transformers, which regulate the wattage going into each of the speakers. To calculate the wattage of the amp needed to run your system, simply take the total wattage of all the taps on your speakers and include a 20% buffer, just to be safe.
