70v Commercial Audio Equipment is comprised of power amplifiers/mixers,
speakers (with in line transformers), volume controls, and
a telephone system interface, depending on your phone company set up. 70 Volt
Commercial Audio Products are mostly used in Music and Voice Audio Applications.
Commercial Audio Equipment begins with an Power Amplifier Mixer,
which not only powers the incoming signal, it distributes the signal to multiple
zones. GIN
Caries a full line of Commercial Audio power amplifiers with features such as
volume controls, bass and treble controls, etc., that are built into the amplifier
to make it a one stop solution. Most commercial amplifiers have speaker outputs
for 4/8/16 ohms, 25 & 70 volts.
With 70v Commercial Audio Equipment/Products, one does not have
to worry about keeping the impedance matched throughout their audio
system as they would on an 8 ohm based system. Impedance is a measure of resistance
and in a 8 ohm system if you hook up too many speakers to one amp the impedance
will change to dangerous levels and potentially destroy the amplifier. However,
in these systems you wire the speakers in parallel with in line transformers,
which regulate the wattage going into each of the speakers. To calculate the
wattage of the amp needed to run your system, simply take the total wattage
of all the taps on your speakers and include a 20%, just to be safe. Moreover,
all the taps do not need to be set at the same watts, hence, you can thereby
set the volume for different speakers when the amp is at one constant volume.
