High Performance Flush Mount Stereo Speakers Systems take up virtually no space, are nearly invisible, and are excellent for hi fi audio systems and home theater. Moreover Angled Ceiling Speakers make the home theater experience even better! Since ceiling speakers usually point directly to the floor as opposed to coming directly at you as in wall models, if you do not place them directly over your head you miss a lot of the sound. But with pivoting or angle models, you can direct the surround sound strait toward the listening area. Moreover, one seldom thinks of their hi fi audio system when they are building their home. Hence, even when simply listening to our stereo music system, there is not always an appropriate place to mount the speakers to maximize the listening environment. Once again, we implement the Angled or the pivoting models and our music experience is enhanced ten fold.
Like standard flush mount / mounted in wall models, The basic sizes for Angled Ceiling Speakers are 5 1/4 in (5.25), 6 1/2 in (6.5), and 8" inch, which refers to the size of the woofer, not the entire stereo speaker or the required round cutout. Moreover, they usually come in 2 way & 3 way models, 2 way being a woofer and a tweeter, 3 way being a woofer, mid range and a tweeter. Although they come in various wattage models, 100 watt models seem to be the most popular, in part because 100 watt High Performance home theater receivers are so popular.
Albeit they are nearly invisible, the sound has a great presence. The days of your Hi Fi AV Equipment having to be huge are long gone. With Flush Mounting, these are nearly hidden, you no longer have to decorate around or dust them. Moreover, the grills are paintable; hence they will match nearly any decor. Installation is also a snap- 5 minute job. They come with template that you trace onto the drywall or plaster (or whatever the room is constructed of) and you cut out the shape with a drywall saw. Then you connect the positive wire to the + and the negative to the -, gently slip the unit into the hole, and slowly secure the C-Clamps with a variable speed drill and a screwdriver bit- it is truly that simple!
