Again, Receivers are the back-bone of any home digital audio stereo system. Whole House Audio, or Multi Zone Receivers provide most of the connections of your complete Audio Video System, often including your LCD or Plasma TV. They often include a Preamp that controls which audio/video source is selected (dvd, cd, home theater, ipod satellite radio, etc), processes the incoming sound signals, and distributes audio to the separate zones and/or channels.
These Home Audio Multi Zone Receivers are fully capable of running a whole house audio system, as well as home theater systems, without the need for additional Powered Sources or Stereo Digital Receivers. These units often are set up for Keypad connections via CAT5 Cable or wiring. Via the keypads, one can control the entire Home AV Stereo System from any of the remote keypads. Some of the systems we carry are expandable up to 12 independently amplified zones. Since they are independent, one does not have to worry about low impedance when connecting multiple speaker pairs to one Audio Distribution System.
